*Fall 2013 - Spring 2014 Gender Neutral Housing application is now available on Orgsync!

Description from Kat McGee: Gender Neutral Housing is a welcoming and inclusive housing option where students can live together regardless of gender identity or sexual/affectional orientation. Any current resident who submitted the Fall 2013 housing deposit can apply. Gender Neutral Housing options are located all over campus in almost every residence hall.

The application timeline is as follows:

  • March 1st: Applications are due via Orgsync.
  • March 6th: Applicants will be notified for eligibility and acceptance. Applicants will receive instructions for how to complete Step Two of the online housing selection process in which you will complete the online application and declare yourself an individual or a group.
A Gender Neutral Housing information session will take place on Tuesday February 26th from 1:00-2:00pm in B124. The application  link above contains much more information regarding Gender Neutral Housing. Please review it carefully and feel free to contact Kat if you have further questions.

Ramapo Pride provides a safe environment for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, queer and questioning (LGBTIQQ) students and allies. Our organization is built around providing activist and educational programming, but also providing a social network for LGBTIQQ students on campus. It holds weekly meetings and organizes social, educational and activist programs for the campus at large. Ramapo Pride meets weekly in C220 at 1 p.m. on Mondays. Our hour long meetings give the members a chance to talk about up and coming events (both on- and off-campus) as well as develop programs and activities that will bring the organization's goals into effect. Meetings also give the opportunity for members to discuss issues that are affecting the LGBTIQQ community both on- and off-campus.
